About the role

This role covers the full model lifecycle, from research hypotheses and evaluation protocols to efficient training and production inference. The research team expects each researcher to combine rigorous experiments with software that lets the wider team test new ideas quickly.

Key responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate new model architectures, training methods, and inference methods for structured data.
Define evaluation protocols that measure accuracy, calibration, compute efficiency, and performance across enterprise datasets.
Scale training across GPUs or TPUs and improve the research code used for rapid experiments.
Work with product and delivery teams to test model behavior under production constraints.

Required experience

Strong knowledge of the complete machine learning research cycle and sound software engineering practice.
Advanced Python skills and practical experience with major machine learning frameworks.
Experience across model design, model training, evaluation, and production inference.
Experience with distributed training, GPU or TPU systems, and machine learning infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of classical machine learning methods and deep learning techniques.

Preferred experience

Research depth in architecture design, model compression, evaluation, code generation, or language models.
Experience with foundation models, tabular data, or predictive analytics.
Peer-reviewed research, open-source contributions, or a strong record in machine learning competitions.
A BSc, MSc, or PhD in computer science, machine learning, or a related discipline.
