About the role

This role leads technical delivery from proof of value through production adoption. The engineer focuses on usability, integration, security, and system reliability, while machine learning researchers focus on model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build production applications that place model outputs inside clear user workflows.
• Lead API integration, data visualization, authentication, role-based access, and enterprise security work across cloud, private network, on-premise, or isolated environments.
• Build backend services that ingest customer data and serve model predictions with defined latency and availability targets.
• Translate data access constraints, interface gaps, and operating requirements into product roadmap inputs.
• Work with sales and solution teams to align security, application, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Required experience

• A BSc or MSc in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of full-stack engineering experience, with production software delivered in complex environments.
• Advanced skills in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and a data visualization library such as D3.js or Recharts.
• Strong backend experience with Python and FastAPI, Go, or Node.js, plus database design experience with PostgreSQL or Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration and delivery systems.
• Experience with enterprise identity systems such as LDAP, SAML, or OIDC, plus the ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred experience

• Experience with data science tools, annotation interfaces, or model monitoring dashboards.
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience as a forward-deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or technical consultant in enterprise software.
• Knowledge of Pandas, PySpark, or related data processing frameworks.
